SHIPPING POLICY

Important Holiday Shipping Updates:

Due to increased demand during the holiday season, please be aware of the following updates to our shipping timelines:

Last Day to Order for Delivery by December 24th: Place your order by December 19th.
Shipping Availability & Delays:
- Express Shipping Temporarily Unavailable: Express shipping will not be available from December 19th, 2025 to January 5th,2026.
- Standard Shipping Delays: it may take up to 8 business days to process an order with standard shipping during Holiday season, and additional delays may occur due to increased carrier demand.
Hemming Requests: Please allow 3-4 weeks for hemming requests to be completed and ready to be shipped.

We appreciate your patience during this busy season and recommend placing orders as early as possible to avoid delays.

We are committed to delivering your order in a timely and efficient manner. Please review the details below:

We only ship to addresses within the 50 United States (contiguous US states plus Hawaii and Alaska*) and Canada. All prices are in USD.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a street shipping address.

Samuelsohn is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or unforeseen events during transit.

STANDARD SHIPPING

Orders are processed once credit card authorization and verification have been obtained.
Typically, we ship in-stock merchandise the next business day.
Hemming requests may impact delivery timeframes.
Orders shipped via standard delivery usually arrive in 4 to 9 business days (excluding holiday & peak times).
Credit card orders are charged when the merchandise has shipped.

EXPRESS SHIPPING

Express shipping is not available for orders with hemming requests.
Express shipping is based on shipping the next business day after we receive your order.
Express shipping is not available to Alaska/Hawaii.
When possible, we may offer express shipping for an additional fee as indicated during checkout.
If we cannot ship the next business day, we will advise you that we cannot ship your order express, and you will not be charged, or we will refund you the charges.

Please note: if Samuelsohn does ship your order on time using express service and the carrier does not deliver for whatever reason outside of our control, Samuelsohn will not refund shipping fees (unless the carrier refunds Samuelsohn).

FEES

Canada & US (except Hawaii and Alaska):

There is no charge for shipping orders with merchandise value over $175 (before taxes).
Orders below $175 will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $15.

Hawaii and Alaska

There is no charge for shipping orders with merchandise value over $1500 (before taxes).
Orders below $1,500 will be charged a flat rate shipping fee of $50.

HEMMING REQUESTS

Hemming requests may impact Standard shipping timeframes.
Express shipping is not available for orders with hemming requests.

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order ships, a shipping notification with the tracking number will be emailed to you, allowing you to monitor its progress. Please allow 1-2 days for the carrier to update the package status.

SIGNATURE REQUIREMENTS

Due to the valuable nature of our merchandise, most deliveries will require a signature and should be sent to a daytime address where a person will be present to receive the merchandise. If you would like to request delivery without a signature, please contact us immediately after placing the order.

If delivery without signature is requested, Samuelsohn will not be responsible for lost packages once the carrier indicates delivery has been made.

While we attempt to accommodate requests, we are unable to guarantee that waiving signature requirements will be possible.

Shipments under $300 in merchandise value may be shipped without signature at our discretion, and if the request is made prior to order fulfillment.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY ADDRESS

At this time, we are unable to process a single order going to multiple destinations. You will need to place a separate order for each shipping address.

STATE & LOCAL SALES TAXES

All prices are in USD.

The taxes charged to your credit card will be calculated based on shipping from Montreal, QC, Canada for Canadian destinations or New York State for US destinations, going to the applicable state and province we are shipping to, with local taxes applied depending on the laws of your state and province.

There will be no duties payable when we ship to the US because Samuelsohn clothing is made in Canada. Tax will be calculated at time of check out and will be included in your order summary. If you choose to check out on a third-party application, they may charge, collect and remit taxes in other states. We encourage you to check out on our website directly.

No sales tax is charged on the purchase of a gift card.

The terms contained herein are subject to change, as the taxation of online transactions is continually evolving. Samuelsohn strives to comply with state, provincial and local tax laws as they exist currently, and continues to monitor and update its taxation policies as those laws change.
